I don't think I asked for your opinion
I don't recall wanting you to help here
Do you even see what it is you're doing?
Do you understand what it means to be a peer?

Equality demands respect
Love should not be pushed uphill
Naturally, hearts will connect
With or without an act of your will.

I know that you're just trying to help
and the kindness within says to let things be
but the potential is there for happiness or pain
and a careless hand isn't what I want to see

Life turns with worlds beat
A rhythm that no one can defeat

keep yourself to your own
I know you have enough on your plate
I will keep myself to my own
And continue my struggle with the hand of fate.
